Origami anyone??

anyone here likes origami? origami is an art in folding papers to make variuos shapes and stuff, like a bird, a cat, a basket, or even the famous "6aro5"

ooops!! i meant "9aroo5"

Origami wa omoshiroi desu ( the same sentence ) .

I like origami very much , there are too many shapes can be made from one paper

I also like kirigami .

I like Origami as in I like the things that are made with it, but I'm not patient enough to do one myself.

yea tori means bird in general. The tsuru is the crane. (Like the one you have picture of)
I was once taught how to do a kimono and a fish by a Japanese girl who stayed at our house for 2 days, but now i forgot how to do them ^^; maybe if i look more into them i can remember. But i can make the tsuru better than any other shape i know.
5alas we will make a special class for culture related stuff like tsuru, using chopsticks, showing the kendama....any other ideas? manga reading?? ^^;

mmm ya and i'll try 2 bring the katana.. :p

Good idea to make a lecture for japanese culture ( culture lecture ) , but how we will use chopsticks in the class ? Maybe we should bring some sushi .

And the one in Prison Break is this , and it is different from the bird , its head and wings are not the same , even the tail is shorter , I get this picture from Prison Break S02E01
